About
My name is Larry, (well actually, it’s Lawrence) but that’s really of no major consequence, because it’s not about me.
I often mess up my words, drink way too much coffee, and dive into things way over my head. Fortunately, God is gracious and I’m a pretty quick learner – or my life would be pretty messy.
I love sports, good pizza, music of all sorts, people of all sorts, and the truth.
I was born and raised in the beautiful city of Chicago, which I miss, but I’m forging ahead in a new locale: Stoke-on-Trent, England. I’ve got a big mission here: Take the good news of Jesus to every young person in Europe. I’ve got an even bigger passion: Take the gospel to every man, woman, and child in the world.
You see, my life has been radically altered by the grace of God. Growing up, I thought I could do everything, but over the years I came face-to-face with a harsh reality: I couldn’t. For awhile I trudged on, trying to ignore the truth and deceive myself and everyone else. But eventually, I came to a crisis point: Give up completely, or find a new way.
That’s when I found grace.

So, at the very core, here’s what you ought to know about me before reading anything I write:
I’m a young man who doesn’t want to waste my life, but to make it count for Him who matters most (Acts 20:24).
…and these are both my inner wrestlings and the chronicles of my adventures.
Note: Although I often mention OneHope and/or the Creative Lab (the organization I work for) in this blog, the thoughts, ideas, and opinions represented here are solely mine. Sometimes, as I process through things, I may post things that are controversial, offensive, or just completely ridiculous. If you don’t like or don’t agree with something, please, let me know! I recognize the value in hearing differing perspectives and learning from others. Just remember: anything posted here is all me, and is in no way reflective on any other person or organization’s opinion!
